last first two. I like it
nearly as much as the original trilogy. It's hard to compare things from different times, but Episode 3 is definately somewhere up there. Probably we like it because it ties up a lot of loose ends and finally gives the full resolution to the whole story (even though, ironically, the episode itself, obviously, doesn't have resolutory ending.)
It was an interesting trip to the theater. I went to see it Thursday(19th) afternoon and, even thought it was NOT the first(midnight) screening, still there were a lot of fanboys/girls waiting in with (plastic) lightsabers, masks, hats, etc. and that was just my local theater. Nearly all the seats were taken, which was pretty impressive for a mid-week-weekday afternoon. Some of the audience were high school students (how come I didn't get to do anything like this when I was in high school??) I didn't actually plan to see it this early, since I normally like to wait out a little bit so that there are less people in the crowd; but this time I went in just because I wanted to see, and feel, the reaction from such a crowd. Everything went well and they all seemed to like it. I catched some of the people around me leaning forward nearly the whole movie, paying more attention to the movie than usual. I've never seen anyone sitting up watching movie that long before, and it was pretty interesting to see :P
We'll see how it does after the first weekend... The numbers should be great.

I've made a personal record during the last few days. I watched the total of 7 movies in 3 days. 2 in theater on Thursday. Friday, went back again and watched 3 more (straight from 11am to 6pm +/-10min;) got back home and watch half of an DVD but couldn't go through all of it, lol. Saturday I watched another DVD, just because it's the last day of that DVD rental.
It's either my brain has gone upside down, or I've gone soft; but when I got back home and read some reviews about those movies that I just watched, I disagree with a number of the critics... What movies did I watched? Let's see:

Crash (definately one of the best films. A little too dark imho, if you don't really know LA. But great script, the whole thing was all driven by the power of its script.)

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (ok... didn't expect much from it, other than I heard that it's one of the best sci-fi novels out there. Overall it was a fun movie though)

A Lot Like Love (now this I like, maybe it's just too early in the morning, but critics don't exactly like this one.)

The Interpreter (blah, could have been a lot better... great casts, boarderline script... not much of a story in there, as expected.)

s winner and I kept waiting for the story to unfold. Worst opening scene ever!, and it makes me not wanting to watch any scifi movies that involve the playing with time ever again. My head hurts after watching this one.)
So yea, watching this many movies in a row can make you crazy. You can see how bored I was (and still am) trying to watch director's comment even after having gone through 3 movies. I guess I was just trying to get my mind of things, or maybe trying to get my mind into
something. I'm still looking forward to watch more, actually... Do you ever have the feeling, when you are free, that you are supposed to do something so that the time can go faster but you don't know what to do? or maybe you kind of know, but you are just to lazy to do
actual work? Well, I'm deep into that hole. It might take awhile for me to (
even start trying to) climb out.
Sometimes time's just gone too fast, and sometimes it's just isn't fast enough.

The new Xbox console generation has been revealed! You can find more pictures at
cinefil_ flickr (where it seems like the announcement in Japan.) Microsoft has just posted its spec. and fact sheet
here. The console was officially announced on MTV as an event called "MTV Presents: The Next Generation Xbox Revealed" hosted by "entertainment icon, seasoned gamer and Xbox fanatic" Elijah Wood last night at 9:30pm EDT. I missed it but I'll be posting a BitTorrent link here if I find one.

Meaning of No Meaning
Have you ever find yourself looking into things too much, overanalyzing, and trying to find the meanings of everything around you? Well, welcome to my life. I don't know if it's good or bad but I feel like there are a lot of things that I need to let go--I do (and I'm very much trying) but honestly I just can't. It's stupid when you know that you can feel better the other way but still you keep jumping back to the same path that more often than not you hated it. Maybe it's something unconscience, but reason doesn't always win; you know? (paradoxically so.)
Oh, and if you are trying to figure it out what the heck
I am talking about in my life; I'd guess that you have answered "yes" to the (rhetorical) question at the top. (unless you are one
s that's close to me, don't bother guessing or else it'll drive you crazy...just like me.)
